The United Kingdom is the sixth largest economy in the world and is only behind Germany in Europe. There is a special feature in road traffic. The United Kingdom drives on the left. The road network runs mainly in a north-south direction, starting from a more or less central point in London.

The journey around the world to our 54 joint ventures and long-term partnerships continues. We are on the border between Asia and Europe: Turkey is next. The Republic of Turkey is unique in that its territory stretches across two continents. The larger part of the country lies in Asia, a smaller part in Europe. The connection is created by the metropolitan area of Istanbul directly on the Bosporus. While around a fifth of the 85 million inhabitants live in the greater Istanbul area, the capital is centrally located Ankara. Turkey's neighboring countries are Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Cyprus, Greece and Bulgaria. Turkey also has extensive coastlines on the Black Sea, the Aegean and the Mediterranean. Turkey also has a wealth of other scenic attractions, from beaches to mountains. However, the country's geographical location makes it prone to earthquakes. At the same time, the country's location makes it an important hub for global transportation. The transport sector is both one of the largest sources of income and the country's largest investment sector.
