We are excited to announce that we have signed today an agreement with the Norwegian company Empower New Energy, to finance engazaat’s renewable energy projects in Egypt. The agreement, valued at $50 million, was signed during a meeting with the chief executive officers of various Norwegian firms, which took place alongside President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's official visit to Norway as part of his European tour.   The agreement, which was inked by Terje Osmundsen, CEO of Empower New Energy, and our very own CEO and Co-founder, Muhammad El Demerdash, represents a major milestone in our mission to advance renewable energy projects in Egypt and the region.   "We are proud to partner with Empower New Energy to deliver cutting-edge solar and water projects in Egypt. This collaboration signifies a significant step towards advancing clean technology in Egypt and the region. We are especially honored by President El-Sisi's endorsement of this strategic agreement, emphasizing Egypt's commitment to advancing its renewable energy sector," said Muhammad El Demerdash.   engazaat is revolutionizing the clean energy and water sector in Egypt, bringing sustainable solutions to communities and multiple sectors at a time. Through its Sustainable-Agro-Village and Entrepreneurship Park (SAVE 1), engazaat has pioneered the largest off-grid desert reclamation project in Dakhla Oasis in Egypt’s western desert.
