The comprehensive study is put together by Sustainabelle Advisory Services founded by Christine Goulay with the support of various industry experts, . The report, based on insights from 62 expert interviews and feedback from 157 stakeholders, offers a comprehensive overview of the roadblocks and advancements in the fashion industry, specifically focusing on material innovations. It discusses how "Next Gen" materials, which are renewable, have the potential to transform the industry by reducing dependence on finite resources like petroleum, minimizing the impact on land and water, and promoting circular production methods and design. The report also delves into challenges like off-take agreements and investments/commitments from brands, while sharing valuable case studies.
