Millions of girls and women around the world are denied their right to education. Gender inequality, poverty, early marriage and gender-based violence are just some of the barriers that keep them out of school and prevent them from reaching their full potential. Globally, women still account for two-thirds of all illiterate adults—a stark reminder of the urgent need for change. UNESCO's Her Atlas is a powerful tool that sheds light on the reality of girls' and women's education around the world. It maps progress, highlights persistent challenges and provides key data to guide advocacy and action for gender equality in education. Education is a human right. Let's work together to ensure that every girl and woman has the opportunity to learn, grow and contribute to a better world. Explore Her Atlas: https://shorturl.at/kZq9I
