Bite Me Lyrics
About
Bite Me is a secret hidden track from Weird Al Yankovic’s 1992 album “Off The Deep End”. The song itself is a parody of the Nirvana hidden track “Endless, Nameless” which is a near 10 minute jam session full of Kurt Cobain’s incoherent screams.
The song was originally found on the CD editions of “Off The Deep End” after 10 minutes of silence at the end of the track “You Don’t Love Me Anymore”. It has been reported that recent editions of the album have excluded the 10 minutes of silence and hidden track making the Scotti Bros original a collectors item. However it is reported that in the recent “Squeeze Box” box set, the track has been reinstated.
A shortened edit of the song was also used for the production company “Ear Booker Productions” who produced The Weird Al Show in 1997. This has led to many self proclaimed “Scary Logo” aficionados to declare this logo one of the scariest of all time.
The song features Weird Al screaming erratically with distorted and reversed instruments playing as well as loud high pitched noises of dentist drills all designed to scare the listener who may have left their CD player on in the background after the final track rather than reward them like other hidden tracks in the past such as for instance Nirvana’s Endless, Nameless from Nevermind which appears 10 minutes after the track Something In The Way has ended.
