Thank you again for inviting us to come out to this special event. We always enjoy speaking with your students, and you are such gracious hosts!
After a restful weekend and some time to focus on completing assignments, finally had the opportunity to reflect on the 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 held last Friday — on Valentine’s Day! Following the Spring Lunch organized by the HRO, the EdUHK community came together to continue the spirit of "togetherness" with an afternoon filled with joy, wellness, and connection. The Caring for Life and Wellness 2025 Carnival was a vibrant celebration aimed at inspiring positive lifestyle changes and fostering a strong sense of community within our University. This year’s carnival offered something for everyone, with a wide array of activities catering to diverse interests. From engaging workshops and sports experiences to the unique Pet Zone for dogs and their owners, as well as vibrant stalls, the event was an immersive and inclusive experience for all. I am proud that Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education (CEIE), EdUHK had the opportunity to play a part in this meaningful event by coordinating the arrangement of 25 incredible stalls run by our community partners, students, and alumni, including: - Childhood Is Limited 童年時期有限公司 - Crossroads Foundation (Leonard Dreher) - Hong Kong PHAB Association 香港傷健協會 - La Violet Education Consultants Limited (Titus Chung) - 蝶木Reod, Tin King Sheltered Workshop of @New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association - Sports for Life (Medard Privat KOYA) - St. James' Settlement - Hong Kong Jockey Club Artspiration Academy: Jockey Club Collaborative Project for Inclusive Employment ─ “eXperiencing Delightful” Slashie Project - Watoto Asia - Ten Ren's Tea We strive for wellness not only within our students and staff but also extend our care to society and the world at large. By inviting community partners from diverse backgrounds, we aimed to raise awareness and inspire small acts of kindness that can make a big difference. One of the most touching moments came at the end of the Carnival when several partners shared how meaningful the event was to them and expressed their eagerness to join us again next year. Truly, that was the best Valentine’s Day gift we could have received! 💖 A huge thank you to the Project team led by our VP(Admin), Tom Fong, together with the colleagues across departments, including Betty To, Christa Lam, Clifton Tong, Hilton Cheung, Cindy Cheung, Iris Cheung, Silvia Lam, Philbert King Yue Li, IRENE TO, Bill Chi Ho Yeung, chi fung yong, etc., who made this event possible. Let’s continue to work together to build a healthier, more caring, and connected community. P.S I also enjoyed a lot to make my Arm Knit Emoji Plushies :) Monique Chan Tiffany Hui Cherise Sin Adrian Kwan Hugo Tang
