Excellent panel on Decarbonisation of Housing Stock Europe with Ad Hereijgers, Vincent Gruis and Branwen Evans moderated by Luke Cross. Significant scaling up challenges but real options on supply chain development and coming investment products, and existing funding partners. Retrofit funding is still too expensive, even with the Govt Guarantee. Needs further work. @TUDelft Places for People RITTERWALD Unternehmensberatung GmbH @Social

We would like to take the opportunity to thank Ballymun Community Law Centre’s Community Solicitor, Paul Dornan, who delivered training on Social Housing Law to members of our Tenant First Link Committee (TFL) and Circle's Housing Services Department staff earlier this week. It was a really lively and engaging session, with a huge amount of knowledge and insights shared, both on the historical and current context of social housing law in Ireland. The Tenant First Link (TFL) Committee is a sub-committee of our Board. The sub committee consists of a number of Circle Voluntary Housing Association tenants, who are dedicated to representing tenants voices at the most senior levels of our organisation. The TFL was established in April 2024 and is chaired by our Board chairperson and includes both tenant and independent members. We look forward to more learning in the future. #wehear #morethanhousing

A fantastic day for Circle Voluntary Housing Association at the 2024 Board Away Day in the historic Richmond Barracks, Dublin 8! The event brought together Circle’s board, leadership, and management teams for a day filled with collaboration, insights, and big-picture discussions. This year was extra special as we welcomed the newly formed Tenant First Link (TFL) Committee, a dedicated group of Circle tenants on their path to board membership! It was also an honor to welcome our newest board members and hear from our special guest, John O'Connor from The Housing Commission presenting the findings from the Housing Commissions report. Big thanks to Dave Dunn, our facilitator, for keeping us on track and focused throughout the day. Here's to the exciting year ahead for Team Circle VHA. #wehear #morethanhousing #boardawayday
