Synexa is a global provider of biomarker and bioanalytical services, headquartered in the Netherlands, and Alderley Analytical Ltd. is an independent UK-based CRO specialising in bioanalytical services in support of the drug development process. Synexa is backed by Gilde Healthcare, a leading European specialist healthcare investor managing over €2.6bn. Gilde Healthcare and Synexa were advised by PwC Nederland (Debt Advisory), DLA Piper (Legal) and RSM (Financial and Tax Due Diligence). Prior to establishing DunPort, Ross was a Senior Analyst at BlueBay, where he was responsible for the origination, execution and management of debt investments in Irish SMEs. Ross also worked in the debt advisory and restructuring team at Lazard, where he advised European middle market and high yield borrowers. Prior to Lazard he worked for Hawkpoint’s debt advisory & restructuring practice, Acision as Group Treasurer and Anglo Irish Bank as a leveraged finance banker focused on the UK and Ireland. He has a BComm degree in Finance from University College Dublin, an MSc in International Business from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School in Ireland, is a CFA charter holder and has an MBA from Cass Business School in London. The transaction marks an exit for Irish private equity investor, erisbeg and is subject to the approval of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) in Ireland. LDC were advised by Clearwater (M&A / Debt Advisory), Addleshaw Goddard (Legal), KPMG UK (Financial and Tax Due Diligence) and Candesic (Commercial Due Diligence).
