We are pleased to announce that SPRYT has signed a collaborative agreement with Treatment.com AI Inc. (CSE: TRUE, OTC: TREIF, Frankfurt: 939). Both innovative AI healthcare organizations are exploring complementary technology synergies. By combining our AI receptionist Asa, which acts as a front door to the healthcare system, with Treatment.com's technology that takes a full medical history and helps triage patients, we can significantly improve patient experience while reducing admin burden and cost within healthcare systems. Treatment’s proprietary Global Library of Medicine (GLM), enables healthcare professionals to capture a patient’s presenting symptoms, past medical history and through smart proprietary algorithms, formulate the most likely diagnosis and suggest the most important tests/exams that should be performed. This history can then be shared with the patient’s healthcare professional in real time and also programmed to help with triaging patients more efficiently. PAI Fellow Dr Doris Dippold (PhD, MA, PFHEA), with University of Surrey researchers, NHS North Central London ICB, the Islington GP Federation and technology provider SPRYT, are piloting the use of WhatsApp and AI for the first time, to streamline cervical cancer screening appointment booking and rescheduling. “This project seeks to understand how language, culture and technological barriers can affect uptake of cervical screening offers. We will use evidence from qualitative interviews and analysis of patients’ interactions with ASA to understand how ASA can be developed to better meet the needs of those groups who are currently underrepresented in cervical screening.” PAI Fellow Dr Dippold. We are honoured to be partnering with CancerX Moonshot, a public-private partnership announced by The White House to boost innovation in the fight against cancer. CancerX is co-hosted by the Moffitt Cancer Center and the Digital Medicine Society (DiMe), alongside the Office for the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) and Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) in the US. As a CancerX partner, we will collaborate with other leaders in the oncology and digital health space to set priorities and practices that will help us harness the full power of innovation to achieve the goals of the Cancer Moonshot. We will share and apply our learnings from our successful project with the NHS in the UK to facilitate the early detection of cancer as well as helping to improve the experience of people and their families living with and surviving cancer in the US. The most coveted accolade in UK healthcare, the HSJ Awards are the largest annual benchmarking and recognition programme for the health sector. The collaboration involves the use of our AI receptionist, Asa, that streamlines the appointment management process for patients and staff. Asa allows patients to book, reschedule and cancel appointments via WhatsApp at any time, without requiring a new app or website. Patients can interact with Asa like they would with a human receptionist. The project aims to increase the uptake of cervical cancer screening, improve clinic efficiency, and overall patient experience. Lucy McLaughlin, NHS NCL Head of Cancer Commissioning,“As a commissioner it is essential that we identify potential solutions that increase the numbers of patients that are able to book and attend their cervical screening appointment so that more patients take up the offer of a cervical screen. Patients are already giving us really positive feedback.
