We are honoured to be partnering with CancerX Moonshot, a public-private partnership announced by The White House to boost innovation in the fight against cancer. CancerX is co-hosted by the Moffitt Cancer Center and the Digital Medicine Society (DiMe), alongside the Office for the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) and Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) in the US. As a CancerX partner, we will collaborate with other leaders in the oncology and digital health space to set priorities and practices that will help us harness the full power of innovation to achieve the goals of the Cancer Moonshot. We will share and apply our learnings from our successful project with the NHS in the UK to facilitate the early detection of cancer as well as helping to improve the experience of people and their families living with and surviving cancer in the US. Together, we will unleash the power of innovation to fight cancer. More about CancerX here: https://lnkd.in/emfpY3R3 #Cancer #CancerCare #Oncology

IOZK Innovation Show Case Presentation on 01.10.2024, 15:00 CET, Stefaan Van Gool, MD. PhD. Join our Live-Webinar at the zoom link: https://lnkd.in/egEqTzFc IOZK is a sponsor of this year's World Cancer Series which was planned to take place on 30.09/1.10 in Brussels, but was recently cancelled. Dr. Van Gool planned to present our Innovation showcase for Improving outcomes and improving value in Cancer Care. We are presenting it to you in the virtual environment. The Innovation Show Cases highlights technologies that are designed to improve the value of cancer care. Dr. Van Gool will answer three questions: 1) What are the innovative aspects of their technology or service design, and how are they intended to improve efficiency and value? 2) How has it been put into use? 3) What has been the demonstrable impact? "Since each cancer in each patient is different, and changing over time, different kinds of immunotherapy should be included, right from the beginning, in all consecutive treatment combinations. Only then, we might reach prolonged control over the cancer." #worldcancerserieseurope #WorldCancerSeries #Immunotherapy #fightcancer

In my role as a federal health management consultant, I witness the collaboration between federal agencies delivering cancer care. But even more inspiring are the stories of patients, families, caregivers, and advocates whose lives have been impacted by government investment in cancer research across all stages. #cancer #innovation #research
FDA's Oncology Center of Excellence invites you to the next #ConversationsOnCancer on June 13, at the start of National Black Family Cancer Awareness Week. This year's theme, “Engaging the Generations,” is a powerful call to action against cancer. OCE's Project Community began this initiative in 2021, during the 50th anniversary of the National Cancer Act and the signing of Presidential Executive Order 13985, focusing on equity and inclusion in cancer research. The initiative seeks to mobilize community-based stakeholders to build knowledge surrounding cancer clinical trial participation and minority population specimen donations to national genomic databases for cancer research. Join us in this critical conversation and help us spread the word. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against cancer. This week, as we acknowledge Rare Cancer Awareness Day, I'm honored to share that our work on Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) and co-design has been accepted at MASCC in France 🇫🇷 . I'll be presenting tomorrow on the Power of Patient Advocacy – Making Metastatic Breast Cancer Count, while also showcasing through the Innovation stream our poster on the value of co-design in understanding patient experiences. Bringing awareness to the challenges faced by those with cancer and even moreso rare cancers is crucial. These challenges include high out-of-pocket expenses, limited information and support, restricted treatment options, less research and investment, and late diagnosis. Data is crucial if we are to improve outcomes for those diagnosed and living with rare cancers. #RareCancerAwareness #MetastaticBreastCancer #PatientAdvocacy #MASCC #Innovation #HealthcareResearch Breast Cancer Network Australia Rare Cancers Australia Sam Mills Siobhan Dunne Erana Boyd Kirsten Pilatti The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC)
