On November 18-19, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Cipla Annual Partners Meet, a first-of-its-kind event organized by the Cipla Foundation. The event brought together an inspiring group of leaders, including palliative care experts, administrative and project managers, clinical stalwarts, and representatives from government, charitable institutions, and NGOs. The two-day gathering was more than just a meeting; it was a platform for mutual learning, collaboration, and the exchange of insights. Together, we explored innovative approaches and shared experiences that will undoubtedly strengthen palliative care programs across the country. As we reach the end of our Palliative Care Partners Meet 2024, we find ourselves filled with a renewed sense of purpose. Over the past 2 days, we've delved into the complexities and challenges of palliative care, the gaps and opportunities in the system, explored innovative approaches to delivering compassionate palliative care through case studies, learnt how technology is being leveraged to connect patients to timely care, engaged in a very insightful panel discussion and exchanged several heartfelt stories of the power of compassionate and multidisciplinary care. It’s been an inspiring first day at the Cipla Foundation hosted Palliative Care Partners Meet 2024! Over 80 passionate healthcare professionals from 25+ palliative care organizations gathered to share knowledge, spark discussions, and strengthen our collective efforts in advancing compassionate care. Today, Cipla Foundation is proud to host over 80 participants from our network of over 25 palliative care partner organizations in Mumbai for our first-ever Palliative Care Partners Meet! Dr. Jaideep Gogtay - Global Chief Medical Officer, Cipla Ltd., and Mr. ANURAG MISHRA - Head, Cipla Foundation inaugurated the event by extending a warm welcome to all participants. Children's Day 2024 - A Celebration of Smiles, Joy, and Togetherness! From Baddi in the North to Bengaluru in the South, our incredible partners and Cipla volunteers came together to create a magical day for children at our educational and healthcare centers nationwide. The day was filled with childhood classics like lemon-and-spoon races, engaging science experiments, exciting games, and lively dance and sing-song sessions. In Goa, our partners also dressed in animal and flower costumes to bring a vibrant, cheerful environment to life for children with serious illnesses. 𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗼𝘆✨ Tata Memorial Hospital PPC project Borivali BMT Centre, in partnership with Cipla Foundation, hosted a heartwarming event to raise awareness about palliative care. Twenty-one brave young hearts with serious illnesses like cancer, thalassemia, and aplastic anemia, along with their loving families, joined us for a day filled with fun, music, and magic. The event was a vibrant celebration of life, featuring delightful performances by the children themselves, followed by a captivating puppet and magic show. Dr. Mamta V. Manglani, Centre Director, shared valuable insights on palliative care, emphasizing its importance in improving the quality of life for patients and their families.
