So, here’s a sneak peek into the journey that made our year unforgettable. 1️⃣ Secured $2.5 Million in Funding - In 2024, we raised $2.5 million in funding, thanks to the trust and confidence of our incredible investors. Piper Serica Angel Fund and global venture capital firm SOSV. This milestone has set the stage for bigger dreams, bolder goals, and brighter tomorrows. 2️⃣We Built a Rockstar Team - What’s a good vision without the right people? We onboarded some rockstars in Tech, Growth & Partnership, and Marketing- ,RAGHUCHANDRA, Aditya, Manisha; assembling a powerhouse of talent that’s ready to push boundaries and make waves in the health and Insurtech space.  3️⃣We launched groundbreaking solutions for students - We launched our Student Total Protect plan offering students financial security for their education, health, and future careers. We’re super proud of this one because it’s not just a product; it’s a promise to safeguard the future of students across India. - We partnered with Integral University to bring this solution to life, ensuring students have the backing to focus on what matters most. In addition, 20+ platform partnerships have been established, and we’ve distributed over 30,000 health covers to date. Behind the scenes, this product wasn’t just an idea; it was built on months of collaboration with experts and an unwavering commitment to solving real problems students face every day.  4️⃣We expanded our footprint in Lucknow and Bangalore. We’re now in two more cities than Mumbai, bringing Flashaid closer to even more people.  5️⃣50+ partnerships that pack a punch - From universities to tech platforms, partnerships have been the backbone of our growth this year. What stood out to me was the proactive approach of the management—they are deeply committed to ensuring their students’ well-being, not just academically, but holistically. They’re exploring avenues to provide health insurance for students and even extending coverage for placements and career paths. This approach is both inspiring and timely. In today's world, students face unprecedented challenges—rising health issues due to stress, uncertainty around placements, and a lack of safety nets. This piece by The PIE covers the silent epidemic of the growing rate of mental health meltdown, increasing suicide rates, and mounting pressure on students. As per the UNICEF report -The State of the World’s Children, one in seven young people between the ages of 15 and 24 in India experiences poor mental health, including symptoms of depression, and disinterest. The findings also, follow previous research released last year by IC3 Movement, which highlighted that over 13,000 students die by suicide annually in India. At this as the backdrop, Flashaid has designed a solution that handholds students through their education journey offering a solution to K-12 schools, colleges, and Universities with its Student Protect Plans.
