AbstractAbstract
[en] The autoradiography is mainly used for medical imaging purposes as well as for the distribution of activity in molecular biology and radiopharmaceutical research. For metrological purposes, an autoradiography can be used to assess the homogeneity of standards and samples, but also to measure activity. The poster summarizes the basic knowledge of the imaging method using the BAS-MS 2025 memory foil on the Typhoon 9210 and the results of the first EM and EC type measurements with radionuclides 241Am, 137Cs and 204Tl. XXXIX Days of Radiation Protection. Proceedings of Presentations and Posters2018
AbstractAbstract
[en] At present, sources of ionizing radiation, whether natural or artificial, are used in various areas of human activity. As far as radiation protection is concerned, it is necessary to know the current radiation situation in the given area. Different dose rate meters are used for this purpose. In most cases, these meters must be regularly calibrated or verified. The calibration and verification of the measuring instruments is carried out in metrological laboratories of ionizing radiation. In this paper, we describe selected possible components and options for equipping such laboratories. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] For rapid screening of a large number of persons or techniques, fast and sufficiently large-volume detectors with a possible spectrometric response need to be used. This enables new high-volume portal detectors with plastic scintillators capable of detecting gamma with sufficient efficiency and speed. As a prospective possibility, the use of plastic scintillation detectors, which do not have a suitable spectrometric response but are sufficiently sensitive, can produce relatively large volumes of crystals and are also affordable.
