Making Cities Resilient 2030 (MCR2030) is a global partnership led by UNDRR that supports national and local governments to strengthen urban disaster resilience. It aims to leave no city behind in the local implementation of the Sendai Framework and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG11): Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. It provides national and local governments with greater access to knowledge, experience, networks, tools, resources, and services on urban disaster resilience. MCR2030 is a collaboration between 11 core partners at global level: - C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group; - ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability; - International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC); - Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA); - Resilient Cities Network; United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG); - UN-Habitat; - United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR); - United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS); - World Bank; - and World Council on City Data.
