📢 Highlights from the First #MCR2030 Online Training for Nicosia! On 4 December, the online training session for Nicosia was conducted in collaboration with Nicosia Municipality, CYENS Centre of Excellence, and UNDRR team (GETI & ROECA). This engaging session brought together about 40 participants, not only from Nicosia but also from other regions, representing a diverse range of stakeholder groups. The training covered key aspects of disaster risk reduction, including practical tools like the MCR2030 scorecards and strategies for local action planning. A special highlight was the exchange of experiences and best practices shared by four MCR2030 Resilience Hubs: Câmara Municipal da Amadora, Lviv city council, Câmara Municipal de Matosinhos, and Provincia di Potenza. Their inspiring examples not only provided valuable insights but also fostered meaningful connections, paving the way for potential future collaborations. Thank you to all the participants and partners for making this training a success! Together, we are strengthening #UrbanResilience and creating safer communities.
