[ Taihan's news ] Taihan has taken the initiative to support athletes with disabilities in achieving economic independence and enhancing their athletic performance. On the 18th, Taihan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dangjin City and the Dangjin City Disabled Sports Association at Dangjin City Hall to improve employment opportunities for athletes with disabilities. This agreement underscores Taihan's commitment to fostering both economic independence and athletic excellence among athletes with disabilities. As part of the initiative, Taihan will establish a team comprising 23 athletes from various disciplines, including table tennis, bowling, billiards, weightlifting, and track and field. [ Taihan's news ]  Taihan Secures a Landmark 230kV Extra-High Voltage Power Grid Project in Singapore. On December 11, Taihan signed a contract with Singapore's SP PowerAssets Limited for a 230kV Extra-high voltage power grid supply project. With a total value of KRW 140 billion, this large-scale project marks a significant achievement for the company. As a full turnkey project, Taihan will oversee the entire process, including the production, installation, connection, and testing of 230kV OF (Oil-Filled) cables and related cable accessories. Beyond this milestone, Taihan secured additional orders totaling KRW 220 billion in the United States and Sweden in November and December. [ Taihan's news ] Taihan has signed a contract worth approximately 110 billion KRW with Svenska Kraftnät, the Swedish national power grid operator, for a 420kV EHV power grid project. The 420kV power grid represents the highest voltage level for underground AC cables in Sweden. Given the high standards required to ensure the grid's stability and reliability, suppliers underwent a stringent selection process. Taihan's exceptional technical expertise, product quality, engineering capabilities, and project management proficiency secured Taihan's selection for the project. This award marks another significant achievement for Taihan in 2024, adding a major European project to its growing portfolio. [ Taihan's news ] Taihan signed an MOU with Ocean Winds (OW), a Spanish company specializing in offshore wind power generation, to collaborate on the 1,125MW “Hanbando Offshore Wind Power Project” in the Incheon exclusive economic zone. The two parties will leverage this agreement to amplify synergies in the Hanbando Offshore Wind Power Project and explore diverse avenues for joint growth. They agreed to cooperate in various fields, including stabilizing the supply chain of submarine cables, identifying market trends, and exchanging information related to the project. [ Taihan's news ] Taihan participated in APAC Wind Energy Summit 2024, held from November 26 to 28 in Songdo, Incheon. This event, the first international wind power exhibition in Korea, provided the company an ideal platform to highlight its submarine cable turnkey solutions. [ Taihan's news ] Taihan has been awarded Korea’s first extra-long continuous underground power grid project, commissioned by Korea South-East Power Co. (KOEN). The extra-long continuous cable technology enables the production and installation of cables exceeding 1 km in length in a single stretch, more than doubling the average production length of approximately 500 meters previously used in Korea. This high-level technology represents a significant advancement in the industry. Taihan will handle the entire process, including manufacturing and transporting 345kV extra high-voltage cables and cable accessory, as well as cable installation and electrical construction.
