Palestinian children like their counterparts across the globe deserve to enjoy a childhood filled with play, learning, and hope! This is the crux of the “Shofoo bi Oyouni" (See Through My Eyes) campaign. More than 10 children per day, on average, have lost one or both of their legs since the conflict erupted in Gaza (Save the Children). The crisis has created an unprecedented number of civilian amputees, with 70-80% of hospital admissions resulting in lost limbs or spinal cord injuries. Displaced children in Gaza still dream of completing their education. This resilience echoes throughout Gaza, where the literacy rate stands at an impressive 97%.
