On n’a pas souvent l’occasion d’être jugés officiellement, et pourtant, chez C-Care, nous avons choisi de nous exposer à un exercice de certification qualité exigeant. Comme chaque année, nous entreprenons de manière proactive le processus de renouvellement de notre accréditation CHKS LTD, accréditation internationale qui atteste de notre engagement aux normes les plus rigoureuses en matière de qualité et de sécurité des soins de santé. Obtenir cette certification est bien plus qu’une simple formalité : c’est un exercice de sincérité et de rigueur. Car être challengés par des experts indépendants - ils sont 5 auditeurs de l’Angleterre cette semaine - c’est avant tout renforcer notre engagement envers la formation de nos collaborateurs, la sécurité pour nos patients et cette conviction forte que l’amélioration continue fait partie intégrante de notre ADN. Ce processus exigeant est pour nous un miroir qui nous pousse à aller plus loin, à ajuster et à améliorer chaque étape du parcours patient. Se poser des questions franches sur nos pratiques, être confrontés à un regard extérieur, et rechercher ce “go-beyond” ne sont pas simplement des ambitions : ce sont nos choix quotidiens pour offrir des soins de haute qualité, fondés sur la transparence, la sécurité et le respect. Key speakers included Mr. Wayne Forrester, who discussed medical malpractice, and Dr. Mootoosamy, who focused on critical limb ischemia in diabetic patients. Dr. Nundlall presented on personalized diabetes treatment, and Mr. Keith Qassab showcased new-generation cytogenetic capabilities. ✨ In observance of World Mental Health Day, the C-Care Mauritius leadership team gathered on October 28 for a dedicated workshop on mental health in the workplace. ✨ The workshop began with an introduction from Annabelle Lønborg-Nielsen, setting the stage for meaningful conversations around this essential topic. Deeya Seechurn then shared insights into mental health within healthcare organizations, shedding light on the unique challenges faced in our sector. Joelle Baillache followed with a presentation of the C-Care Mental Health Survey results, providing a snapshot of our team’s current well-being. We were also privileged to hear from our guest speaker, Anouchka Sooriamoorthy-Desvaux de Marigny, PhD, who brought a fresh perspective on how we can thoughtfully respond to the suffering of others. Drawing from philosophical insights, she challenged us to consider how compassion can shape our interactions, to build a work culture where everyone feels supported.
