💧Driving Sustainability through Collaboration💧 Yesterday, our Steering Committee Meeting at the University of the Western Cape brought together key stakeholders to reflect on our successful Platform of Vocational Excellence Water projects and chart a course for future initiatives. Before getting into our agenda, we were warmly welcomed by the UWC's Dean of Natural Sciences, David Holgate. Led by the Stellenbosch University Platform of Vocational Excellence in Water, our discussions mainly focused on innovative plans and solutions for PoVE Activities in collaboration with our local partners. It was truly amazing to have all our stakeholders in the same room, sharing ideas, providing feedback, and celebrating the strides we've made. We are also grateful to have had the Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA) join this meeting where they shared their valuable insights and expertise. We appreciate their commitment to contributing towards the development of our students, and we look forward to continued partnership. Tijdens de Winter Water Week van het Platform of Vocational Excellence Water in Letland kregen studenten en docenten van Firda en Aeres VMBO en MBO Leeuwarden de kans om praktijkervaring op te doen en vernieuwende onderwijsmethodes te ontdekken binnen de watersector. Studenten verdiepten zich in waterprocessen en afvalwaterzuivering, terwijl docenten inzicht kregen in vakmanschap en samenwerking tussen onderwijs, bedrijfsleven en overheid.
