JustCo had the honour of collaborating with The Majurity Trust to design The Foundry. This meaningful project was led by our Workspace team in transforming the interior of the former Elections Department Building into a space for collective impact, where social impact organisations can collaborate, connect and build communities. Rooted in JustCo's design ethos of creating purpose-built spaces, every detail is meticulously put together to reimagine a space that feels like home for organisations to gather and collaborate. The space is imbued with a connection to place, with each area presenting a closed loop between design, people and place. From the hot-desking areas to the meeting rooms, office spaces and communal areas, every area is fit for purpose - providing organisations with access to networking opportunities and shared resources. Did you know that Korea has one of the highest old-age poverty rates in the OECD? It is estimated that the country's poverty rate of individuals aged 65 and above is over 40% - a stark contrast to the OECD's average rate of 13%.   During the winter season, the elderly and vulnerable alike bear the brunt of extreme temperatures, with no living essentials like warm clothing and coal to shield them from the biting cold.   Founded to help the less privileged, Babsang Community Welfare Foundation (https://www.babsang.or.kr/) has been a beacon of light for the community. From ensuring the citizens' well-being during winter to distributing meals and offering scholarship programs, the social welfare corporation strives to build a better tomorrow for the community.   JustCo is delighted to partner with Babsang Community Welfare Foundation as part of our global CSR project, #KindnessWorksForMe. Dedicated to support vulnerable elders, this month's initiative saw #JustCoKorea coming together to deliver warmth to the elderly by distributing coal briquettes, as well as food supplies.   Through #KindnessWorksForMe, we aim to continuously drive meaningful social impact by contributing to the welfare of our communities. Globally, the population of people aged 65 and above is increasing rapidly and it is estimated that about half of them are living alone. This is where our collective efforts have the potential to drive meaningful change within our community.   Through our global CSR project #KindnessWorksForMe, we strive to help the less privileged and vulnerable elders, uplifting them to live well in their golden years.   #JustCoTaiwan rallied our members in September to support Eden Social Welfare Foundation (https://lnkd.in/g57NpkSG), an NGO dedicated to helping people with disabilities and other socially marginalised groups. Since it was founded in 1982, it has been instrumental in catalysing positive change and transforming lives by providing vocational training, rehabilitation, early intervention, long-term care service and more. Partnering with Eden Social Welfare Foundation thus aligns with our commitment to contribute to the well-being of the vulnerable demographic within our community.   #JustCoTaiwan not only raised funds and donated medical equipment to the elderly beneficiaries, but they also brought cheer to the elderlies as they spent the afternoon engaging them with activities.   #KindnessWorksForMe goes beyond mere outreach; it's honouring our pioneers and their contributions by giving back to the community.   By championing meaningful community initiatives and corporate volunteering opportunities, we strive to create a workplace where #JustCodians feel connected to something larger than themselves and their daily tasks. ✨ 🫶🏻 #JustCo #CSR #socialgood #Taiwan
