Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis is expected to play in tonight’s game against the Charlotte Hornets. Davis has been listed as probable for the game as he is currently dealing with plantar fasciitis. However, his participation in tonight’s game doesn’t seem to be in question as the 31-year-old is in good spirits. Davis has been crucial for the Lakers this season and is currently averaging 25.8 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game while shooting 51.9% from the field.
Furthermore, he has also been excellent on the defensive end and is putting up 2.1 blocks and 1.3 steals per game for the Lakers. Davis has been a game-time decision for most of the Lakers’ fixtures this season but has only sat out for two out of 36 games. His injury struggles were always an issue throughout his career. But, Davis has turned things around for the better since last season. Over the past two seasons, The Brow has played 110 out of 118 games for the Lakers.
He has gone from being ridiculed for his fitness issues to being the Lakers’ most consistent player. Surely, his presence on the court tonight will make the team better by leaps and bounds. LeBron James who is also listed as probable is expected to be a part of the proceedings tonight as well. James is averaging 23.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game while shooting 50.7% from the field.

While Davis and James will be available for tonight’s game, Cam Reddish, Jalen Hood-Schifino, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Christian Wood are expected to be on the sidelines. With all these players out for the count the Lakers will miss out on some much-needed size and wing presence tonight.
The Lakers are going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment and have lost their last two games. They currently occupy the sixth spot in the Western Conference with a record of 20-16. Furthermore, they are 6-4 over their last 10 games. If they wish to turn things around, a win tonight will be crucial for the Los Angeles Lakers.
