Buchan Offshore Wind is pleased to announce the renewal and extension of its support for Turning the Plastic Tide (TTPT), an important initiative managed by the East Grampian Coastal Partnership. This project aims to promote and coordinate community beach cleans, train volunteer organisers, and develop a sustainable network of trained volunteers to ensure ongoing beach clean efforts. In addition to organising logistics, including equipment and disposal containers, TTPT is focused on creating a network of beach clean kits for volunteer groups to utilise. Last year, the Buchan Offshore Wind team joined forces with volunteers from Balfour Beatty plc to successfully remove 1,620 kg of waste from Rattray Head beach, highlighting the positive impact of community engagement in environmental conservation. For more information on TTPT and how you can support this important project, please visit: https://www.egcp.scot/ttpt
