🎓Congratulations to our InPower graduates! Last week, 21 refugees celebrated their graduation as qualified interpreters at a heartwarming ceremony in London. Our InPower Project empowers refugees by enabling and fully funding their training as interpreters. ➡️Once trained, graduates can become freelance interpreters and use their skills/knowledge/experience to provide interpreting services for Clear Voice's customers. Ivonne, one of the graduates, had to flee El Salvador. She qualified as a professional Level 3 community interpreter and has been working as a freelance interpreter working with Clear Voice since. 🔊She said: “I feel really happy. I feel really proud of all that I have achieved today. It is a great day for everyone: for Clear Voice, empowering people. For us, for those who are trying to make a life here in the UK, and for those who we serve as well. So it is a day for celebration, and I am happy. What do you think of our InPower Project? 🤳Lots of our clients run Helplines with callers from all backgrounds and nationalities. Some of them don't speak English fluently. ✅Using phone interpreters means callers can understand everything and be fully understood too. This makes a huge difference in how effective the Helpline is. 👋Our Sales Manager, Peter Lakesmith was at the Helplines Partnership conference last week. Here are a few of his highlights: 🟠Chatting with attendees and finding out about organisations doing great work 🟠The Awards recognising the amazing work they're doing Were you there? #Helplines #Interpreting #MakingADifference
