As part of National Marine Week, we are pleased to announce the installation of vertipools, living sea wall panels, domed fish refugia, and flat-bottomed pools at South Shields marina, funded by the Environment Agency's WEIF programme. These installations are integrating well and are already being colonized by marine life. On August 7th, our team will return to the marina to monitor these features and assess the marine life that has established itself. This monitoring is part of our ongoing impact evaluation of these innovative Nature-based Solutions. #NationalMarineWeek #SeaTheConnection #MarineLife #GNEC
