  • EXCITING NEWS! 🎇 We’ve had an amazing semester working with the talented students from Northumbria University's Advanced Practice programme! 🎓 This collaboration gave students the opportunity to apply their learning to a real-life project, and we’re thrilled to share the results: they’ve created a Grace House App! 📱 This innovative app will streamline and improve communication between our charity and the families we support, making a real difference in how we connect with our community. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Northumbria University for their support and to the students for their hard work, creativity, and dedication. The personal growth and transferable skills they’ve developed over these 12 weeks will no doubt prepare them for bright futures ahead. The App will be launched to the families by end of Jan 2025 🧡 #Collaboration #Innovation #StudentSuccess #GraceHouse

  • That's our Christmas Tree Collections finished for another year! Yesterday, Harry Forster and Brian Ridley finished off the 2025 Grace House Christmas Tree Collections which saw over 120 Christmas trees collected everywhere from Peterlee to Blaydon. This event has grown year on year from collecting 25 trees in 2022 to 120 in 2025. None of this however would have been possible without the support of our drivers Philip Pugh and Brian Ridley. Also a massive thank you to Paul Smith and the team at HLA Services Ltd for letting us use one of their vans for the 3 days! Bookings are already open for Christmas' collections 2026, due to the high demand this year! Book your slot here:
