People tend to hire those they trust and connect with, often choosing individuals who think like them, even if they appear different. While visible diversity is crucial—especially for equality and equal opportunities—focusing only on appearance can be misleading. Hiring a diverse range of people who all think the same may look good but doesn’t foster true diversity. It’s not about choosing one over the other; both visible and cognitive diversity are essential. #leadershipdevelopment #futureofwork #humanresources #psychologicalsefty

I used to work in toxic environments and I have channeled that frustration into developing multi award-winning solutions that can turn diverse groups of people into high-performing teams by measuring and optimising psychological safety, motivational drivers and cognitive diversity. This video just reminded me of the quest I am on... - insecure leaders are scared of facing reality even if it could allow them to make better decisions before team dynamics break down even more - a lot of coaches and consultants are passionate about the topic publicly, yet their actions and expertise do not match their words The good news is that more and more people understand the importance of matching passion with up to date skills and solutions. With our 100s of licensed partners we have already worked with 1000s of teams and their leaders in over 50 countries. Data-driven leadership and team development is a game changer... #futureofwork #teams #leadership #icqglobal

"Diversity is fun...until someone disagrees with you!" We often celebrate diversity for the richness it brings to teams, but let’s be honest: when someone’s perspective clashes with ours, diversity can feel less like a gift and more like a challenge. This is especially true when we look beyond visible diversity to the kind we rarely discuss: cognitive diversity. It’s about how we think, communicate, and solve problems and it’s the invisible force that can make or break team dynamics. Here’s the question: Is your team cognitively diverse? If your answer is yes, how do you know? The truth is, if you can’t measure it, you can’t fully understand or leverage it. At Human Leadership Humain, we specialize in measuring cognitive diversity with clear, actionable data. By helping teams understand how and why they communicate and behave the way they do, we’ve enabled them to: 1) Improve collaboration and communication 2) Alleviate conflict by fostering self-awareness and adaptability 3) Enhance efficiency through tailored strategies We believe this: We are all compatible. When teams don’t get along, it’s not a lack of compatibility, it’s a lack of self-awareness and flexibility. By addressing these gaps, we’ve seen teams transform from disconnected to cohesive, from struggling to thriving. So, is your team as diverse as you think? If you’re ready to measure and maximize the potential of cognitive diversity in your organization, let’s start the conversation. #Diversity #CognitiveDiversity #TeamBuilding #Leadership #SelfAwareness #Collaboration #Healthcare #Communication #ConflictResolution #ICQGlobal

Ever had the perfect solution to a problem at work but kept quiet because you knew it would mean more work for you? It’s a common dilemma: You see the path forward, but sharing it feels like signing up for a project you didn’t volunteer for. Staying silent might protect your bandwidth, but it also means the opportunity for growth and recognition slips away. The real question is: How do we create a culture where sharing ideas isn’t punished with burnout but celebrated with support? What would make you feel more comfortable speaking up in these moments? #leadershipdevelopment #futureofwork #humanresources #psychologicalsefty

Authenticity is powerful as long as it does not turn into a glorified form of fixed mindset. Self-inclusion is the foundation of being able to accept others as well in a healthy way, although it is not an excuse for not growing and becoming more to reach our full potential. True potential is also useful, it creates value otherwise it is just a delusion, a blissful feeling with zero legacy. This is me, accept me the way I am is a relatively reasonable request as long as it is mutual. That is often the missing part...the desire for freedom without being willing to pay its price, accountability. Authenticity is an amazing platform to build on, it should not be an artificial ceiling for ourselves that alienates others. #futureofwork #leaders #teams

Burnout doesn’t happen overnight, it’s a slow decline of passion, energy, and clarity... The pressure to achieve, to stay ahead, to never slow down. It’s a cycle many professionals find themselves in. But burnout isn’t a badge of honour; it’s a warning sign. A sign that rest isn’t a luxury but a necessity. True productivity isn’t about how much you do... it’s about how well you recover. Pause, reflect, and ask yourself: Am I working towards my goals or running on empty? What’s one way you recharge to prevent burnout? #leadershipdevelopment #futureofwork #humanresources #personaldevelopment

A group of talented individuals doesn’t make a great team—connection does... Teamwork isn’t just about bringing skills together; it’s about bridging differences. The most common reason teams fail? A lack of psychological safety and shared understanding. Without trust and open communication, even the brightest teams can crumble. Real teamwork happens when people feel valued, heard, and empowered to contribute. What’s one way you foster connection and trust in your team? #leadershipdevelopment #futureofwork #humanresources #psychologicalsefty

Words can be meaningful yet impractical. Standard coaching is about empowering clients to find their own answers within by reflecting on things they are not even aware of. Sometimes there is an overlap between cheering and coaching a client depending on what they want, attention or solution. There is a better way... Personally I believe in data-driven coaching that makes the process much more tangible and practical. Trying to solve a problem by staying in our own head with our thoughts is often as logical as trying to decrease the pollution by increasing the traffic...trying harder is not the solution. It is much easier to get out of the maze with a blueprint. There is also a blueprint to our own mindset and even to team dynamics so we could intentionally and efficiently optimise them. #futureofwork #leadership #teams
