✨ HETT North 2025 Recap ✨ HETT North returned to Manchester Central on 26 February 2025 to discuss the latest innovations in healthcare technology and it was great to see Health Innovation Manchester and NHS Greater Manchester NHS GM at the heart of the conversation. Sir Richard Leese CBE, Chair of NHS Greater Manchester, delivered the opening keynote talk on ‘Digital Healthcare in a Devolved System – Lessons from Greater Manchester’ which explored how digital innovation in #GreaterManchester is driving integration, tackling inequalities, and improving healthcare. He highlighted both Digital First Primary Care and the GM Care Record as exemplar digital transformation programmes in the region. 💻 👏 Health Innovation Manchester’s Public and Patient Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Manager, Nicky Timmis was involved in an insightful roundtable discussing co-creation in healthcare and the importance of public involvement in innovation, asking ‘What successful strategies have been used to address common barriers to PPIE, and how can we replicate or scale these approaches for wider impact?’ 👨👨👧👧   Gareth Thomas, Digital Innovation Director at Health Innovation Manchester and NHS Greater Manchester took part in the closing keynote panel about ‘The Future of NHS Data Infrastructure - Strategies for Integration, Security, and Intelligent Patient Care’, referencing recent strides toward creating a Secure Data Environment for research and planning in the North West 🔐 Did you see any of these discussions? AI investment will reshape women's healthcare “With the backing of Lifted Ventures and other strategic partners, we’re excited to accelerate our global expansion and continue making a big difference in women’s lives.” Leeds-based Lifted Ventures has joined the latest funding round for Anya, a digital health application providing AI-powered support for women across fertility, pregnancy, menopause and beyond. Already trusted by the NHS and supporting seven million users, Anya is now expanding into the private healthcare sector, with bosses saying the funding will “accelerate” growth plans and enable Anya to “scale globally”.
