🌎 Partnering for the Planet with Aldi! 🍞 We’ve joined forces with Aldi UK to launch Another Round, a deliciously hazy IPA (3.4%) brewed with Aldi’s surplus tiger bread, upcycling 3 tonnes of leftover loaves! Bread is one of the most wasted foods in the UK and one-third of food produced globally is wasted. So using by-products instead of growing more food is a no-brainer. This collaboration reflects our belief that together, we can drive real change. By reducing waste and preserving resources, we’re transforming the brewing industry, one pint at a time. Cheers! #SustainableBeer #AnotherRound #FoodWaste

Beer brewed with surplus bread - from leftover loaves to liquid gold. Raise a Toast to Planet Earth 🍞🍻🌎
About us
We brew with surplus fresh bread from bakeries. That means less land to grow barley for brewing, and less loaves to waste. Since 2016, we’ve saved so many slices of bread that stacked up together, they’d be over 4 times the height of Mount Everest! When it comes to food waste, we’re on a mission to move mountains. A third of all food produced is wasted, wasting the natural resources that go into its production too. We're here to change that. As a BCorp, we advocate for better business. We stand for nature, and all our profits go to environmental charities. Find us in Fortnum & Mason, Waitrose, Co-op and Ocado. Join us for a beer at goodcompany.london on Thursdays until 10pm.

What a year to raise a Toast to! 🍻 Here's to everyone that's been part of our story this year and helped us save more bread, so we could have even more impact. A slice of what's been brewing: 🏆 Scooped up more awards than we can carry! 💚 Supported incredible community groups through our Food Sustainability Heroes fund with ActionFunder 🍺 Launched some seriously tasty collabs with Aldi UK, NORTHERN MONK and Change Please 👋 Welcomed new faces to the Toast family, said "see you soon" to some sabbatical adventurers, and wished farewell to others 🌱 Proudly re-certified as B Corp with our highest score yet 🌿 Made history with the world's first Living Beer Tap and rolled out into the The HEINEKEN Company Star Pubs. 🍞 Opened our first microbrewery, allowing us to experiment like never before 🌱 Supported #NoMowMay and donated to Plantlife International Here's to an even bigger, better, and more sustainable 2025. Cheers! 🌍

At Toast, we believe in brewing beer that sparks conversations—and action. With the Climate and Nature (CAN) Bill’s critical Second Reading coming up on 24th Jan 2025, we’ve sent tasty boxes of beer to MPs as a little nudge: 🍺 A reminder to be in Parliament to vote for this game-changing legislation. 🍺 A thank you to those already supporting the Bill and standing up for our planet. This Bill is a once-in-a-generation chance to tackle climate change and the nature crisis. But it’s crunch time—we need at least 102 MPs to show up and vote. Special shout-out to Macey and Daniel from Zero Hour who joined us in packing the beers. Your dedication is inspiring, and we’re raising a Toast to you! Cheers!🍻 💡 Want to help? Take 2 minutes to email your MP and encourage them to attend. Your voice could make the difference. 👉 Link in the comments to find out how.

🎄 How do you celebrate the festive season with your team? At Toast, our Christmas party was packed with good vibes, good food, and plenty of what makes us, well, us. This year, we kicked things off with a crisp winter walk (because a bit of fresh air makes the beer taste better later). Then, it was back to our Chief Toaster’s house for a home-cooked feast! We finished the day where we belong - down the pub - sharing a pint and raising a Toast to another year taking positive action for the planet, through great-tasting beer.🍻 Oh, and the cherry on top? We all went home with goodie bags made from upcycled Toast branded flags (waste not, want not, right?). They were filled with treats from some of our ethical business buddies: 🍫 Divine Chocolate UK 🌿 Faith In Nature 🥜 Pip & Nut | B Corp 🍎 Flawsome! Drinks | B Corp™! Drinks 💡 The Green Co. It was the perfect way to wrap up the year. Cheers!

🔔 Big news! We’re thrilled to announce our overall B Impact Score has jumped from 111.8 to 125.5 - a huge leap in brewing positive change! For context, the average business scores just 50.9, so we’re definitely raising the bar for impact in the beer world. Back in 2018 we were the first UK beer company to become a certified B Corp, and now, we've recertified twice with the highest scores of all UK breweries! Just like we transform surplus bread into liquid gold, we're transforming the way business can be a force for good, for people and planet. Because making amazing beer shouldn't cost the Earth. We’re thrilled to be highlighted as a case study by sustainability expert Steve Mullen - in his article on The Six Principles of Impact Innovation! 🍞🍺 Steve breaks down how we align purpose with profit, showing that businesses can create systemic, scalable change while doing good. His framework shows how sustainability can be the backbone of innovation - we’re so proud to be an example. Check out his article to dive deeper into how we’re brewing up change: https://lnkd.in/e9AKjwvT Let’s raise a Toast to impactful business! #FoodWaste #ImpactInnovation #ToastBrewing

Such an epic event in collab with People Planet Pint last night. We loved raising a Toast with old friends and new, along with fellow hosts Business Declares and Wholegrain Digital. Here's to everyone that came along. Cheers!
Is there such a thing as a truly responsible business? This is the question posed by the film ‘Responsible’ by Tristan Lochon. The challenge for large incumbent businesses is immense, but even most newer, disruptive business models struggle to be truly (rather than net) sustainable. And we need to working towards regenerative! What do you think? Last night Toast Brewing hosted a private screening, in partnership with Business Declares, and our friends at Wholegrain Digital who feature in the film. Look out for future screenings and hopefully international distribution next year🤞🏼 We followed with a People Planet Pint social with Small99. As always, a great crowd. It was great to connect with friends old and new, working in ‘sustainability’ across so many different industries. Thank you for helping to organise Samantha, Ben, Vaishnavi, Tom, Vineeta, Julia, Bryony. And great to see you Michael, Lizzie, Charlotte, Adam and many more 🍻

We're chuffed to be featured in Social Enterprise UK's 2024 Gift Guide alongside some incredible change-makers. Because what’s better than a gift that brings joy and makes a difference? Social enterprises are businesses that put people and planet first - reinvesting profits to tackle social and environmental problems. (In our case, that's turning surplus bread into beer and sending 100% of profits to environmental charities!) Head to the link in the comments to discover more about these amazing like-minded businesses and find some presents with purpose! 🌱 #businessforgood #SEUK #socialenterprise
