We’re thrilled that two NSPCC initiatives have been shortlisted for the Children & Young People Now Awards 2024! 🏆 The NSPCC's Talk Relationships programme has been shortlisted for the PSHE Education Award. Talk Relationships is a service to ensure secondary school-aged young people across all four nations can learn about sex and relationships in a safe education environment that recognises, responds to, and prevents abuse. 🏆 And Childline and Internet Watch Foundation (IWF)'s Report Remove service has been nominated for the Safeguarding Award. Report Remove is an online tool that allows young people under 18 to confidentially report a sexual image or video of themselves that may have been shared online, to see if it can be taken down. Every child deserves a happy, carefree childhood. Research has highlighted a shortfall in the response for children who have experienced child sexual abuse (CSA), and a lack of confidence amongst professionals in preventing, recognising and responding to CSA. Together, we can transform the response for children. It can start with a FREE system-wide CSA snapshot to help you understand the strengths and weaknesses of your current local CSA service provision. that helps show best practice, gaps and barriers. Our Implementation Team are there at every step to facilitate a snapshot of best practice, gaps and barriers, giving you recommendations to improve the system for children and families. Thanks to funding from the Home Office Support for Victims and Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse (SVSCSA), for a limited time we can provide support for FREE. You can find more information here: https://lnkd.in/eNq_wm6T Or email us at csaawareness@nspcc.org.uk to sign up for your free snapshot. #ChildSexualAbuse #Prevention #NSPCCImplementation
