Professor Mark Lawler emphasized, “We need to compete, not against each other, but against our common enemy – Cancer.”
This collaboration not only strengthens our shared commitment to improving cancer outcomes but also pays tribute to the vision of Professor Paddy Johnston, a UCD graduate and former Vice-Chancellor of Queen’s University Belfast, who championed all-island cancer collaboration through the Ireland – Northern Ireland – US National Cancer Institute Cancer Consortium.
