“Mike did a whole house window replacement for us. He is knowledgeable, and was very responsive from beginning of the project to final finishing. I can tell he has been in this business for long time and has real hands on experience. It was a major project or us, so we had many questions, and we just asked him. I highly recommend him, as he really knows all aspects of general contacting work, from sales, permits, planning, and to actual installation. His price is very reasonable, and we are very satisfied with the end result.”

“Review of Mathis Custom Remodeling: We contracted with Phil Mathis in August, 2004 to completely remodel our master bath. The price was competitive and the workmanship was excellent. We selected Phil to remodel our second bath in November, 2006 - a major undertaking. Good price and another excellent job! Just recently (January, 2013), we had Phil modernize our living room, dining room, hallway and entryway. Not only does Phil do excellent work, he has also provided us with design ideas and advice. “I hired Groysman Construction to do remodeling of the kitchen in my house and also to add high-efficiency high-airflow fans in two bathrooms. The remodeling was largely limited to replacing old appliances by the new ones. This required the electrical wires and terminals be replaced and the existing cabinets be modified to fit to the new appliances. Regarding installation of the fans, Groysman Construction discovered that existing ducts were too narrow and did not match the new fans' specifications. They proposed the ducts be replaced and they offered for that part of the job only very small fee, which surprised me a lot (pleasantly surprised, I might add). The overall job was done very well and in the promised time. In my estimation the total fee for the job was very competitive. I was very satisfied with Groysman Construction. “After finding him on Yelp with good reviews, we had BVM design a 655 sq. ft. residence that incorporated a pre existing building. He was responsive to emails and calls and gave us a surprising number of designs. He was able to give us exactly what we wanted, despite our ideas being communicated rather poorly over the many many interruptions of small children. It was not cheap, but I don't really know what others charge. Also, when our general contractor saw the plans he said "boy, this guy knows how to draw!!" Overall, he was really easy to work with, gave us exactly what we wanted, and impressed other professionals in his field. What more could you want??”

“Remodeling has been a blast for me. The previous contractor I worked with was result-oriented and highly skilled and now with Eco Home Builders, I feel like I have been blessed for a second time. I hear some stores of outright bad and shabby contractors. Thankfully I have been left out ever since. Eco Home Builders has once again met the mark and they did so brilliantly. “Zack responded very quickly and got the job done very quickly. He installed an in-wall dog door which means he cut a hole in the wall of the house and inserted the door. He did a nice and neat job for a very reasonable price and we are very happy with his workmanship. The dogs are so so happy that they can live a free and independent life by going in and out at their leisure. Thank you Zack !!!”

“We have now completed three different projects with James O'Keefe and his BuildMasters Construction Inc., and I can say that I would not go with any other general contractor! He and his crew do impeccable work, are dependable, keep the client up to date on time and budget issues. He has great communication, is clear on his timeline so that we can order materials in a timely manner, and he is very detail-oriented. This project, a whole house remodel, shows up in his Houzz profile as "Encinitas Beach Remodel," and everyone concerned has said what a great job he's done. Finally, we have had 3 local real estate professionals tour the house, and every one of them has asked if we would share the name of our contractor. We continue to happily state that we are once again extremely satisfied with James O'Keefe and BuildMasters Contracting.”
