Over the past couple of months, ACCTING hosted four Open Studios tackling key topics linked to the #EUGreenDeal, such as mobility justice and transformative resistances. These sessions brought together diverse voices to co-create solutions for a fair and inclusive green transition. 🙏 Special thanks to our partners Yellow Window Design and SU Gender for the smooth coordination of both online and offline events, and a huge thank you to everyone who joined and shared their insights! Your contributions will shape the next steps as we turn ideas into impact in 2025. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/e7X3npzn

We had the privilege of hearing from three inspiring speakers: Matías Barberis Rami (FUTURESILIENCE) shared strategies for urban resilience, emphasising the power of marginalised communities’ knowledge and the importance of scale in policy design. Sofia Strid (ACCTING) advocated for placing intersectionality at the heart of green policies, highlighting at-risk groups as key drivers of change with resources and agency to act. Johannes Klein (Regions4Climate) explored how to identify and engage vulnerable groups, addressing structural barriers to participation. 🙏 Thank you all for an engaging and stimulating round table discussion with questions relating to ethics, stigmatisation and resistances. Beneath the surface of the Green and Digital Transitions lie structural inequalities that can deepen existing divides. In this final post of our series (4/4), we explore examples of how access to financing, political influence, and technology often favour some groups over others. Without equitable access to green financing, for example, smaller businesses and lower-income households may struggle to adopt sustainable solutions. Similarly, policy influence often aligns with wealthier regions, potentially side lining those in greater need. ST4TE seeks to illustrate these structural gaps, advocating for policies that make the Twin Transition accessible to all. 👉 Check out our carousel to learn more. #ST4TE #ST4TEProject #TwinTransition #GreenTransition #DigitalTransition #Inequalities
