In the heart of Vidisha, two-year-old Anurag was dangerously underweight at just 18 pounds. His family, still grieving the loss of his older brother to acute malnutrition, was on the brink of losing hope again–when a changemaker stepped in. Pallavi, a community facilitator trained through AIF’s Maternal and Newborn Survival Initiative (MANSI) identified Anurag’s critical condition and ensured he received lifesaving care at a Nutrition Rehabilitation Center. Today, Anurag is healthy and thriving, with a future full of possibilities ahead. This year-end, your gift can empower more changemakers like Pallavi to be the difference between despair and hope for families like Anurag’s. Donate today and secure your 2024 tax deduction as well! 📅 Make Your Year-End Gift Today! 👉 https://lnkd.in/epyuZwyH How many lives will YOU help support before the year ends? #AIF #MANSI #Changemakers #YearEndGiving #TransformingLives

We proudly congratulate our CEO, Nishant Pandey on his 10-year journey with AIF! From navigating global challenges to propelling AIF as the largest diaspora-led philanthropic platform in the world, Nishant has embodied AIF’s mission of creating lasting impact. His leadership has been a beacon of resilience, innovation, and growth for all of us. Every day, his passion for driving social and economic change globally inspires us here at AIF. Join us in celebrating this important milestone! #10YearsOfLeadership #AIFImpact #GlobalChangemaker #SocialImpact
This month, I complete #10years at AIF - 3 years as the #CountryDirector and last 7 years as the #CEO! In these 7 years, AIF has grown more than 3 times its annual operating budget, 6 times the number of passionate #changemakers at the frontline and, most importantly, 4 times the number of people served across all #States and #UnionTerritories of #India bar one. And AIF has emerged as the largest #diaspora-led collective philanthropic platform in the world! This growth is not just measured in numbers but in #resilience, #innovation, and #partnerships. I feel proud to have been a part of this incredibly impactful journey and I hope that our accomplishments will make all those dozens of compassionate leaders who founded the organization under the overall vision of the then PM of India, Shri #AtalBihariVajpayee and the then #US President #BillClinton, proud as well. Our goals for the next 25 years are audacious but for now, my heart is full. Full of #gratitude for our tireless teams in India and the US, our global, India, and regional boards, hundreds of partners, tens of thousands of donors, and countless #volunteers who have extended their warmth, wallets, and wisdom to bring us to where we are today. Personally, I have had the privilege of walking hand in hand with #communities in the remotest corners of India as well as engaging with world leaders from business to politics to culture. Every moment has reinforced AIF’s mission—ambitious yet deeply personal. Navigating this decade of volatility—from economic challenges to a #globalpandemic—demanded more than resilience. It required what I call “Stagility”, a harmonious balance of stability and agility. It is this ethos that allowed AIF to not only weather uncertainty but also emerge stronger, adapting and thriving in the face of constant change. To everyone who has been part of this remarkable decade—THANK YOU! LinkedIn won't let me tag everyone but I do want to mention Harit Talwar Lata Krishnan for guiding me, #AjayBanga for believing in me when, as the Co-Chair of AIF’s Global Board in 2017, he asked me to take over as the CEO and mentored me like a younger brother, Pradeep Kashyap, Raj Sharma, CIMA® Venkat Srinivasan Sumir Chadha Rohit Kapoor Jayant Tambe for always being available for advice, Mathew Joseph for seamless partnership, Kalpana Kanthan and Hema G. for shared leadership, and of course, to my family for putting up with my flaws, idiosyncrasies, and relentless ambition to pursue professional goals–at times, coming at the cost of personal sacrifice. With a bold dream of serving #100Million lives in India and contributing to creating Viksit Bharat 2047 (100 years of India’s independence), I am reminded of the words of Peter Drucker, “The best way to predict the future is to create it”. So, here’s to the doers, dreamers, and believers at AIF, and the next chapter of #impact, innovation, and boundless possibility. American India Foundation - USA American India Foundation
