Big announcement: Jubilee's is now a certified Women-owned Business! Of course, we've always been mom-owned. Now, we get this cool badge to show it off. One of the most surprising things about the consumer packaged goods industry is the massive underrepresentation of women. It feels like when I started tech in 2011 and was the only woman in the room. A lot has changed. But in CPG when I go to investor events, and it's 1 woman to every 15 men. I go to networking events, same thing. Still, there ARE so many INCREDIBLE woman founders out there. Like most innovations, Jubilee’s was born out of a need to solve a very simple problem. In my case, it was two adorable problems, with sandy blonde curls that refused to eat their vegetables. I knew we had a winner the day my Annie girl asked for mom’s “strawberry cake milk” over Hershey’s and milk. Even more though, kids have stopped drinking milk. And that’s a problem. I want to change that.
