  • #FCPSTeacherTuesday “I was so fortunate to have amazing orchestra teachers growing up. Orchestra was the class I always knew I would have instant friends who had the same hobby as me, and it was a safe space where I could be myself. Growing up I wasn’t the most confident and outgoing person, but my orchestra directors created an environment where I felt comfortable expressing myself. If I can create that environment for even one student, I would consider myself a success.” Jessica Suchecki Music Teacher Fairhill Elementary School If you'd like to join the #FCPSFam and become a teacher with FCPS, apply now! https://bit.ly/3DtIspG

  • #FCPSTeacherTuesday “I decided to become a teacher because I love helping others, working with kids, and have a huge love for learning! Growing up, I always loved coming to school and was inspired by many great teachers who made a big impact on me. Teaching has brought me so much joy, and although it can be tough at times, I try to remember my “why” and savor all the little moments. That’s what makes this challenging profession so worth it!” Vanessa Alayza Kindergarten Teacher Bailey's Elementary School for the Arts & Sciences If you'd like to join the #FCPSFam and become a teacher with FCPS, apply now! https://bit.ly/3DtIspG

  • #FCPSTeacherTuesday “I had always wanted to work a career in which I could help people and work with the public. I had been in several classrooms as a substitute teacher, but after working in special education, I knew this was the career for me.
