We are proud to highlight Mary Alice Benson who is celebrating her 5-year work anniversary with HWA this month! Mary Alice is a dedicated geologist who, in her free time, is working on a citizen science project on an active landslide near Forks, WA. This project, spearheaded by Kathy Troost L.G., PhD, has been on-going for the past 5 years and monitors benchmark movement. Here you can see Mary Alice in action, standing in a tension crack!
