Some strong #billboards on showcase during a recent drive from CT to Maine. Loved all the holiday centric creatives that really generated impact and a strong memory recall. Of particular note was a billboard by automotive group The Herb Chambers Companies- 3,000,000,000 miles trade-in for Santa‘s sleigh! Sounds like a quality trade-in! This was spotted on the Mass Pike just outside of Worcester. Of course there were the classic law/injury firms, insurance brokers, travel deals, local restaurants, but what stood out were creatives that spoke to timely events or seasonality. The static billboards with simple special build extensions also caught my attention. Kudos to MURRAY OUTDOOR COMMUNICATIONS, New Tradition, Clear Channel Outdoor, Lamar Advertising Company, OUTFRONT Media, Barrett Outdoor Communications & DeMartino Outdoor Media for keeping us entertained and engaged on the long drive. #betheBOSS #OOH #DOOH #LED #DigitalBillboards #StaticBillboards

Future of air travel media? Will this make seatback screens a thing of the past? Some airlines are already utilising “bring your own device” on flights & not bothering for screen capex… just make sure there is a power source, USB, USB-C. Something to think about for brands that love spending ad dollars on inflight media. This gentlemen is rocking the Apple Vision Pro. Navigation through tapping of fingers & virtual keyboard is very innovative, but a little strange for a person next to them not familiar with this process. He even ordered a drink and snack from flight attendant without removing gear. Anyone tried them before? Parking in NYC during the holidays is never easy! Ya’ll heard about these new awards for independent #ooh? Yeah, they’re called the Indie Impact Awards. Thanks to IBOUSA - Independent Billboard Operators and Formetco Incorporated, and Up To Something (self plug, gross), independent out of home creatives everywhere, will get the chance to show off their work on the international stage. No market too removed. No client too far below our collective radar. No media operator too small. The Indie Impact Awards are leveling the creative playing field. Always fun seeing some cool anamorphic creative come to life while walking around Times Square! The LG Electronics Endangered Species Series is a partnership with Discovery Education and the National Wildlife Federation. The campaign highlights vulnerable and endangered species. It currently features the Galápagos sea lion, an aquatic population at increased risk due to plastic pollutants. The Galápagos sea lion has been designated by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as an endangered species. We love when brands anchor themselves on initiatives that help the world. Advertising isn’t always about selling more product. Good on LG for making this a reality!
