We were thrilled to attend the recent American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Latin American & Caribbean Energy Summit in beautiful Punta del Este, Uruguay! 🌍✨ The event offered a dynamic and intimate setting, bringing together key players focused on the Latin America & Caribbean region. As all eyes are on Uruguay right now, the conference delved into key themes including exploration success and a positive business environment in the South Atlantic Margins, as well as a strong return to deepwater exploration. Discussions also highlighted exciting developments in geothermal energy, carbon storage, and hydrogen as part of the renewable energy landscape. Our own Maureen Macaulay had the opportunity to share insights on some of our high-impact international opportunities. Two important events in London this coming week Moyes will be attending. The Energy Council's World Energy Capital Assembly and the GESGB (Geoscience Energy Society of Great Britain)'s PETEX 2024. Ian Cross will be presenting "A Journey Through Underexplored Basin of Asia-Pacific" at PETEX on Wednesday 20th November at 9.50am.

The Moyes team attended the GESGB (Geoscience Energy Society of Great Britain) Diamond Jubilee evening at the London Geological Society last night. Fantastic turnout showing the society is alive and kicking. President Ian Sayers opened the evening. Incoming President Steve Laux was also in attendance. Many thanks to Westwood Global Energy Group for sponsorship of the evening. Festivities continued on to the Cheques public house, conveniently located below the Moyes office.
