On the second day of #2024NSCHighlights, the focus is on the 2024 Summit! The #2024NSCSoberingSummit this year was themed around "Putting the Pieces Together" 🧩. This year's summit, hosted in Houston, TX, saw the highest number of registrants for any #NSC summit to date! This year was also the first year attendees were able to receive continued education credits for several sessions. #SoberingNews A great accomplishment for The Medical Sobering Center at the Gateway Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This month, the #SoberingCenter will begin 24 hour a day operations with the capacity to help up to 50 patients at a time. As Mayor Tim Keller said at a news conference, "...We’re going to open this up and get people to help they need, even during this freezing, cold time of year when we need it most”.
