I’ve been reflecting this week on how amazing the #NCLGBA24 Winter Conference was and how thankful I am to get to work with such phenomenal budget professionals across the state. I was privileged to moderate a session on Strategic Planning presented by Pat Madej, Monica R. Allen, PhD, and Ryan Wherrity ☁ with ClearPoint Strategy. They were all incredible and left our attendees with useful advice on creating and maintaining strategic plans in their local governments. I also have to give a shoutout to our association conference planners MaryBeth Spoehr and Sara Warren for all the hard work they put into this conference and the rest of the NC Local Government Budget Association (NCLGBA) board for everything they contributed as well to make conference a success. I am already looking forward to next Summer in Asheville!
On the second day of conference, #NCLGBA24 brought to me… 🥗 Lunch, association updates like our brand new Mentorship Program, and a closer look at what our board members do 🧾 Digging into the Details on Local Sales Tax with Denise H. 📈 Data Visualization and Budgeting with Sophie Painley 🏡 It’s a Beautiful Day in the NEW Neighborhood with Justin Amos and Marvin Collins 🧭 Strategic Planning in the Real World with Monica R. Allen, PhD, Pat Madej, and ClearPoint Strategy’s Ryan Wherrity ☁ 🍻 Holiday Trivia brought to you by EDIFICE Construction We are thankful to all of our great moderators, speakers, and sponsors for a wonderful winter conference so far!
