We have charged five defendants with operating a large-scale retail theft and fencing operation. Through locations in Queens County and the Dominican Republic, this crew sold more than $2 million in stolen merchandise in a two-year period. As we approach the holiday season, take great care to know the origin of the products you are buying. We thank Governor Kathy Hochul for her leadership on the retail theft issue and New York State Police & Homeland Security Investigations New York for their work on this case. We must never forget the sacrifices made by our veterans in fighting for our freedom. As we do every year, my office took the time to express our gratitude and appreciation for the men and women who have served during our #VeteransDay Commemoration Ceremony in Elmhurst Park.

Together with the NYPD & the NYC Sheriff, we shuttered an illegal cannabis shop that had become the subject of community complaints in Sunnyside. We will continue our enforcement of unlicensed dealers who market to children, fail to pay tax revenue and undermine licensed sellers. https://lnkd.in/egcMvsXw

We were pleased to visit Georgia recently, where our Senior Deputy Bureau Chief of Legal Hiring spoke to students at Emory University School of Law, Georgia State University College of Law and the University of Georgia School of Law. We are enlightening potential legal futures, one student at a time!
