Saving Mothers is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to women's health, education and empowerment. Through public health initiatives, we aim to give women and their health care providers the tools they need to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity. Saving Mothers currently works in Kenya, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and New York City.

Like we always say! Midwives, doulas, community health workers, and traditional birth attendants are KEY to positive birth outcomes. The World Health Organization agrees - and is partnering with the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) to create a detailed guidance document explaining how to adopt and implement midwifery models of care in various settings.
