"Being a Starbucks Tech intern contributed to my personal growth by pushing me out of my comfort zone. While I was familiar with the work my project involved, I had never dealt with the specific challenges it presented. This required me to engage with various teams within the company to ensure my project was compliant and functional. This process taught me the importance of collaboration, communication, and the value of seeking advice from others, which has made me more confident in tackling new and unfamiliar challenges. What I value most about this experience is the community and the culture of the company. It makes me so happy to see how everyone is so excited to help others but are also so welcoming of one another." Celeste, application developer intern Our summer internship program, hosted at the Starbucks Support Center in Seattle, features varying openings across multiple departments for undergraduates, graduates, MBAs and Starbucks College Achievement Plan scholars. Starbucks, alongside the Starbucks Indigenous Network are celebrating Native American Heritage Month centered on the theme "Weaving Our Future Tapestry Together." Meet Bob, a district manager from Texas and the co-chair of the South Central Indigenous Network chapter. "It took me about six months to realize how important the networks (employee resource groups) were to the company and in the stores. It's not just about what we do inside our four walls every day. It's also trying to hopefully pass along to others what's possible out there. My Great Grandfather was a very proud Cherokee nation member and shared a lot of values with us. Throughout Native American Heritage Month and beyond, we need to keep Indigenous heritage education front and center and provide a space to be educated along this journey." For our people, by our people, Partner Networks create moments of connection that promote diversity, foster inclusion and contribute to our personal and professional success. Through networking, intercultural events, leadership roles and moments of service to our communities, networks are an endless opportunity of growth. #ToBeAPartner

Since 2016, Starbucks has donated more than 63 million meals through the employee-created Starbucks FoodShare program by making sure unsold food in our stores is donated and delivered to regional food banks and local food pantries. As part of our FoodShare model, we work alongside local nonprofits to ensure our donated food reaches communities most in need. Through these partnerships, Starbucks provides additional FoodShare Capacity Building Grants to local hunger relief organizations to support food distribution efforts. This year, we have invested an additional $4M in grants to nearly 300 food rescue organizations across the nation. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gPQzFGpf
