There's a massive misconception that Talent Beyond Boundaries is a refugee job-matching agency. Job matching is only a tiny fraction of what we do. We're really out to change the system that prevents refugees and forcibly displaced people from accessing labour migration pathways. Watch our CEO, Steph Cousins, explain how.

Employment Pathways for Refugees to Italy: A historical milestone 🇮🇹 We’re proud to announce the arrival of the first candidates in Italy through a labor visa under the “Labor Corridors for Refugees” program. After months of preparation and training, two skilled professionals from Sudan and South Sudan have joined the shipbuilding sector following a specialized training program in Egypt. This milestone is made possible by Italy’s Law 50/2023, showcasing the important role of employers in facilitating safe, regular pathways for refugees to rebuild their lives through meaningful work. This extra quota pathway allows Italian companies to select and hire refugees upon completion of a training course conducted abroad. These candidates’ achievement is part of the “Navigating into the Future: Discovering and Training Talent in International Shipbuilding” initiative. Supporting 200 participants, including refugees and Egyptians, the program is a collaborative effort led by Orienta Agenzia per il Lavoro, alongside UNHCR Italia, Agenzia ONU per i Rifugiati, Salesian Institute Don Bosco Cairo, Talent Beyond Boundaries, the National Association for social assistance - E. Schiaparelli, and key partners in Egypt, including the Italian Embassy in Cairo. The labor pathways for refugees are the result of a strongly collaborative process involving UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, Diaconia Valdese, Talent Beyond Boundaries, and Pathways International, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Labor, and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
