We believe the best care happens between one human being and another, face to face, eye to eye, heart to heart.
About us
We know it can feel like modern technology has pushed healthcare to the point where the word “care” doesn’t mean much anymore. Well, it does to us. Since 1929, when Dr. John Brougher traveled the backroads of rural Washington to deliver babies to patients who paid him in chickens, Vancouver Clinic has been led by doctors and staffed by experts who work together to take great care of our patients. 80 years later, Caring for Others is still our purpose and our mission, and the driving force behind everything we do. Because if we’ve learned anything over the years, it’s that the best care happens between one human being and another, face to face, eye to eye, heart to heart.

Thank you to the Vancouver Farmers Market, American Heart Association, and WSU Clark County Extension for joining us in supporting patients facing food insecurity. This year, the Produce Prescription Program, an initiative led by the Vancouver Farmers Market, served 55 patients and their families with consistent deliveries of fresh food and produce. “Health care is expanding so far beyond just a visit with your clinician,” said Hilary Henderson, associate director of population health at Vancouver Clinic. "It’s becoming so important to your patient’s overall health that they have healthy food and health options.” Read more from The Columbian: https://ow.ly/XV2k50Uyb78.

Our clinical pharmacists offer specialized support to patients whose blood pressure is not well-controlled with their current medication. Using in-person and online appointments, alternate medications or dosages, and a lending library of blood pressure cuffs, pharmacists partner with a patient’s primary care clinician to help individuals gain control of this critical health metric.
