Our latest #WIN4SMES project workshop connected with the first Train the Trainer event took place end of October in Vilnius, Lithuania. A big thank you to our hosts (Verslo ir svetingumo profesinės karjeros centras and Mykolas Romeris University) "COVEs are formed by networks of partners that develop local "skills ecosystems" to provide high quality vocational skills to young people and adults, and contribute to regional development, innovation, industrial clusters, smart specialisation strategies and social inclusion." (EC) During our time together we focused on further forming these networks of partners within our regional CoVEs, next steps within our Workplace Innovation Best Practice collection activities, as well as on a Train the Trainer for personnel and center management. We even had working groups build a representation of a physical COVE out of macaroni as a team building activity - you can see the winners on the last photo. #Partnerships #FutureOfVocationalEducation #SkillDevelopment #Entrepreneurship #Education #training #SmallBusiness #InnovativeTraining #CareerReadiness #IndustryAlignedSkills #TrainingForEmployment #SMES #Skills #Innovation Hanse-Parlament Berufliche Hochschule Hamburg (BHH) Berufliche Schule ITECH Elbinsel Wilhelmsburg BS14 IBC International Business College Trekantområdet Satakunta University of Applied Sciences - SAMK Sataedu Satakunnan kauppakamari - Satakunta Chamber of Commerce Lower Silesian Chamber of Crafts Vocational School Complex No.5 in Wrocław Wrocław University of Science and Technology Hungarian Association of Craftsmen Corporations Foundation for the Deak Ferenc Secondary School of Economics Platform Talent voor Technologie NHL Stenden Verslo ir svetingumo profesinės karjeros centras Mykolas Romeris University Lithuanian Association of Hotels and Restaurants Handicraft Chamber of Ukraine EURASHE

The COP (Community of Practice of Centers of Vocational Excellence) is a great initiative which brings CoVES together (including #WIN4SMEs). As stated in their LinkedIn welcome post: "'Alone you go fast, together you go far' . We want to share their shiny new Linkedin page, so please feel free to check it out and stay informed. #Partnerships #FutureOfVocationalEducation #SkillDevelopment #Entrepreneurship #Education #training #SmallBusiness #InnovativeTraining #CareerReadiness #IndustryAlignedSkills #TrainingForEmployment #SMES #Skills #Innovation
'Alone you go fast, together you go far' That's why the project leaders of the #erasmus Centers of Vocational Excellence are joining forces since 2019 in the CoP CoVEs, short for Community of Practice of Centers of Vocational Excellence. In this independent grass roots community by and for the projects leaders, everyone chips in questions, experiences, lessons learned and inspiring examples, so everyone can learn and no-one has to reinvent the wheel. And we are happy to share! So if you want to know all about what the Centers of Vocational Excellence are doing and how they bring together their regional skills ecosystems all across Europe: follow this page! We will share updates of the individual CoVEs here, along with other interesting info related to the Erasmus Centers of Vocational Excellence. 📣 NEW EPISODE - THE GRANT PODCAST: #115 A Kick Off meeting - The WIN4SMES case❗ We invite you to listen to a Kick-Off themed podcast recorded by one of our project partners Niels Tudor-Vinther where we briefly discuss the core idea of #WIN4SMES and then jump into practical Kick Off aspects. Will there be more episodes about #WIN4SMES, you ask? Yes. Our aim is to significantly boost workplace innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by nurturing a skilled workforce, fostering collaborative environments and promoting knowledge transfer through Centers of Vocational Excellence. We have 20 partners from 9 countries representing Vocational Schools, Higher Education Institutions and Business Support Organisations (EQF level 3-6). We will have a lot to talk about. ✅ 📢 Also, check out the full podcast episode here: The Grant universe: www.thegrant.eu/115 #Partnerships #FutureOfVocationalEducation #SkillDevelopment #Entrepreneurship #Education #training #SmallBusiness #InnovativeTraining #CareerReadiness #IndustryAlignedSkills #TrainingForEmployment #SMES #Skills #Innovation
𝐃𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 📣 NEW EPISODE - THE GRANT PODCAST: #115 A Kick Off meeting - The WIN4SMES case❗ A milestone that most funded EU projects need to pass is the kick off meeting - the official inauguration of the project and launch of activities. It marks the change from preparing an application and anxious waiting to concrete action and carrying out the work plans sketched out in the proposal preparation phase. I have just been through this process myself. At my daytime job we decided to accept an invitation to join an Erasmus+ proposal last year. So, after handing in our input and budget suggestions, we then waited – like everybody does in this area of EU funding. The project was granted funding and we where all invited for the official kick off meeting in Hamburg in the beginning of April. The WIN4SMES project’s focus is on answering to the massive lack of qualified labor in especially manufacturing SMEs that will hit us in the years to come. Going to the kick off meeting, I had the idea to bring my recording kit without having made previous arrangements with the coordinator. That was a good idea because President Max Hogeforster and Project Manager Anna Maria Czarny from Hanse-Parlament , agreed enthusiastically to do an improvised recording. We of course have a talk about the core project idea, however the core themes of the episode are the practical, official and social functions of a kick off meeting. ❗Key take-aways 👉 Kick off meetings are difficult to plan for the coordinator because of the combination of a lot of formalities, practicalities, work package resumes and other content elements 👉 This means that it is impossible to avoid quite compact agendas which at times can be exhausting 👉 So, creatively the coordinator needs to think of strategies to combine content-heavy elements with lighter social elements to get the balance right 👉 This is important because the kick off meeting sets the tone in the collaboration both in terms of organization, content-wise and socially ❗ Direct link to episode: https://lnkd.in/dgq75HiW ❗ Don't forget to subscribe to the podcast and check out The Grant universe: www.thegrant.eu/115 #kickoffmeeting #funding #projects Eric Voigt Nina Spithost Maryna Popovich John Edwards Monika Stausberg Maëla Barçon Maja D.
