I was asked a simple question... "Why have you picked events?" I wish it was possible to give a simple answer, but it's more complicated than I thought to give a single answer that can properly encapsulate as to why I live and breathe events. This answer is the exact same reason as to why I decided to work on CreatorFest. Because through events, we are able to teach and learn from people who are doing so much better than us. With CreatorFest we are able to show creators how to turn their passion into a business. On the other hand, we can show business owners how to effectively showcase their business through creative means.

The Magic of Events – and of Life itself ✨ If there’s one thing the event industry has taught me, it’s that even the best-laid plans don’t always work out - but it’s what happens *next* that makes it all the more magical. 🪄 We’re used to curveballs: a sudden downpour forcing a show’s cancellation, a headliner backing out, or critical equipment stuck in transit. But seasoned #eventprofs always seem to have a plan B, C, or even D up their sleeves, ready to pivot and turn obstacles into opportunities - just like a magician. 📑 This Saturday, I got a personal reminder of that magic. I’d been eagerly anticipating seeing David Tennant in the Scottish play, but a last-minute illness in the cast threw that plan out the window. The short notice was a downer on what would've been a lovely day out with Mother Heyburn - but we're still hoping for a reschedule! 🤞 After getting to bed after 5am Saturday morning, I could have called it a day but, knowing Joshua Taylor would be heading into Central London to collect something he’d left in our van from the Thorpe Park site visit anyway, we decided to make the most of it. With rush tickets at the ready (thank you TodayTix Group (TTG)), Josh managed to score second-row seats to *Amaze* in the West End - a magic show, fittingly enough! While one of the tricks was foiled by our line of sight, the storytelling and spectacle from Jamie Allan reminded me of something profound: like magic itself, life has a way of surprising us, especially when we’re open to what’s next. ⏭️ So here’s my question to you: how often do we miss out on “Plan B magic” in life by clinging too hard to “Plan A”? ✨ I would love to hear your stories about a time when the unexpected turned out to be *exactly* what you needed! 🪄 #TheMagicOfEvents #ThePowerofEvents #LifeIsMagic #Storytelling
