The EGVIAfor2Zero team visited the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), kindly hosted by Andreas Pfrang, as part of our tripartite collaboration agreement with BEPA - Batteries European Partnership Association. This was a unique opportunity to explore the latest testing facilities at the JRC and learn more about the achievements made through our partnership in next-generation batteries. Thank you for hosting us! #Batteries #Testing #Research #JRC #Collaboration #EUTransportResearch #EUPartnerships

Nothing works better than an open exchange between experts. European Commission’s Joint Research Centre collaborates with the BEPA - Batteries European Partnership Association and the European Green Vehicles Initiative Association for the Towards zero emission road transport partnership 2Zero in the field of battery technologies, testing and sustainability assessment. During our annual collaboration meeting in Petten, the EGVI Impact Assessment was highlighted and 2ZERO funded projects were presented. Representatives from 5 European projects BATSS EU, EXTENDED project, NEXTBAT project, TEMPEST Project and VERSAPRINT EU inspired us with their latest ideas for next generation batteries. Industry experts visited JRC’s laboratories, where JRC develops fit-for-purpose test methodologies. Are you interested to learn more? Feel free to reach out to JRC or the contributing organisations and projects. #batteries EU Science, Research and Innovation
