The Global Education Partnerships Forum 2024 has started in Helsinki today covering 2 days of collaboration around the pressing themes of global sustainable education challenges. We need to be looking at how we report, because that affects what we assess, and that affects what we teach. And we need to be looking at how we report so that universities and other organizations looking at transcripts learn to see far more than subject grades and test scores. Why? In #Ukraine, Swisscontact is tackling a critical challenge - the mismatch between the skills taught in vocational schools and the demands of the private sector. Through the #EdUP project, and working closely with partners, we are equipping students with practical and market-relevant skills that prepare young Ukrainians for sustainable employment. A recent example of this impact was a hand-on training by #WavinEkoplastik specialists to 24 students at a vocational school in #Lviv. The EdUP project is committed to transforming Ukraine’s VET system into a resilient, market-responsive driver of opportunities.
