This is an interesting read about how #Europe is addressing #pollutants in waterways with an update to its urban #wastewater treatment directive. One aspect of note is a provision on "Extended Producer Responsibility," which is similar to the "polluter pays" language we hear in the U.S. What do you think the U.S. could learn from this directive?
