Interviews & How to Win: Leave a Lasting Impression Doing well in your interview doesn’t come from just answering the questions in the best way. It’s by building rapport with your interviewer, showing who you are, and proving your candidacy. I have paved my way to a total of 5 interviews. 3 of those 5 have been followed up with a second interview. The biggest challenge I felt with each interview was finding how to curate that friendly conversation with my interviewer. Sometimes, the interviewer just wasn’t reciprocating the energy I was trying to move forward. Other times, they reciprocated, and I was able to crack jokes, use some more informal inflection, and in the end, win them over.

Start by getting your tech in check—test that internet connection, camera, and microphone like a pro to avoid any "Can you hear me?" moments. 🤓💡 Set up in a quiet, well-lit spot with a clean, professional background. Just like in-person interviews, do your homework—research the company, know the role inside out, and practice those answers to boost your confidence! 💼🔥 During the interview, sit up straight, make eye contact through the camera, and speak clearly. And yes, dress the part head-to-toe (no pajama bottoms, folks!), because feeling sharp = performing sharp! 💪 I’ve had my fair share of surprises during virtual sessions 🤣😂 What about you?
